For part-time study, plan for travel, independent work and agreement with your employer as well as the programme’s stated duration

Entry requirements

BA Economics and Management: A-level A*AA including Mathematics at A or A*, or an accepted equivalent — TARA is required for 2027 entry

Oxford MBA: recognised degree, at least two years of full-time work, GMAT or GRE, CV, supporting statement, two references and online assessment

The MBA lists IELTS Academic 7.5 overall, minimum 7.0 per component — check official alternatives, waiver criteria and TOEFL test-date restrictions

MBA requirements do not apply automatically to other Oxford master’s degrees — check the academic background, references, tests and documents for your chosen course

Living in Oxford and budgeting

The BA Economics and Management page estimates 2027–2028 living costs at £1,475–£2,175 per month, separate from tuition

For your budget, multiply the monthly estimate by the months you will actually live in Oxford, then allow separately for travel and personal costs — an academic year need not equal a full calendar year

The Executive MBA fee includes specified services during modules — compare the official inclusions with your travel and accommodation budget before paying

Scholarships and funding

Oxford MBA funding opportunities include school, university and college scholarships — individual awards have their own criteria and deadlines

Plan a base budget before a scholarship decision — tuition and any potential financial support should be considered separately
